LOCATION

The Victoria Caves complex, located in the village of Vothonas, will transport you to what seems like a whole other world – rural, relaxed, and virtually untouched by the overwhelming tourism development on Santorini.
It is among the picturesque settlements of Santorini, offering a peaceful and beautiful setting for your holidays.
It is built on a quaint ravine and presents traditional houses carved out of rocks.
A stroll around the paved alleys leaves visitors spellbound by the creativity of the old craftsmen who knew how to protect their homes from violent storms. Vothonas is characterized by this unique layout and stylish details that match perfectly with the blue-domed churches and traditional houses.
Vothonas is also home to the Koutsogiannopoulos Wine Museum, the perfect place to enhance your knowledge of wine in a breathtaking, underground setting. Regarding religious buildings in Vothonas, one can admire the church of Agia Anna, which comprises the oldest church of the village and has a tower with 9 bells, and Agios Roussos church, which is made out of pumice.
You can reach Victoria Caves from the airport in only 3 kilometers and from the port in 8 kilometers.
It is 4.7 kilometers away from the capital town Fira.
For swimming and playing beach volleyball, you will find organized beaches in Kamari and Monolithos at a distance of 4,5 kilometers.
In addition, you can enjoy the clear blue waters and water sports on Perissa and Perivolos beaches.
